The site also tells the story about George and Annis Bills 7월 11일 GlenburnThis trough has now found a loving home with a great view tending for the needs of thirsty cattle on a farm in Glenburn Victoria. This Bills trough was originally located in Footscray, Victoria, and like many other troughs it had to be moved to make way for new roadworks. Luckily it was saved from the rubbish tip. Present owners Mal and Gina discovered it lying in a very neglected state covered by thick blackberries bushes where it had laid for many years. This Trough now receives the tender loving care it deserves, and with water connected in its present location beside a Old Hand pump, it will survive for many more years. Kyneton No2This trough had originally been in the Lorne area Victoria and was retrieved from the tip as a garden ornament before being sold at an auction. It now forms part of an extensive private collection of all types of bits and pieces from our past. The collection consists of many large items which include Mack and Diamond T trucks, Caterpillar tractors, Furphy water tanks, Ruston heavy engines, one weighting 25 tons. Smaller items are in the purpose built museum at 1868 Trentham Road, Kyneton, Victoria. which includes an extensive collection of Automobillia, and other general items. This collection is not open to the public but the owners welcome people who have a genuine interest in collecting.
